Darwin Porter, Network Operations Manager

Darwin Porter is responsible for maintaining the Thomasholmes network infrastructure and ensures uptime of all technology and integrated freight solutions. Maintaining the Thomasholmes network infrastructure entails providing end-to-end solutions from the end user to the outer-most point of our network and every internal system in between. Mr. Porter also manages ISP contracts, voice/telephone, hardware procurement and disposal, third party software installation and maintenance, maintaining vendor relationships, windows server management (SQL Server, Exchange, Active Directory), and electronic data interchange as a few examples of what the technology networking operations supports. Mr. Porter's role is one of the most important at Thomasholmes, as our web-based freight management software is the backbone of freight shipments by both our customers and internal freight specialists for outbound and inbound freight shipments. Up-time and speed of use for our network is crucial to providing seamless service and empowering users of the Thomasholmes Rater™ and all Thomasholmes applications to feel confident when users are ready to ship freight, run reports, or access the invoice center. Darwin worked four years at Tulsa Community College, and his position there allowed him to familiarize himself with different programming languages, syntax, and database structures. This helped pave the foundation for some of his responsibilities at Thomasholmes, including SQL Server and VB Scripting. Mr. Porter attended the University of Phoenix, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business and from Tulsa Community College, receiving an Associate of Sciences degree in Management Information Systems. Darwin has lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for most of his life except for time spent on U.S. naval vessels. Mr. Porter is happily married with one daughter and enjoys watching his daughter play basketball. Darwin claims he is the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan since 1979.
Adam Robinson
Adam Robinson oversees the overall marketing strategy for Thomasholmes including website development, social media and content marketing, trade show marketing, email campaigns, and webinar marketing. Mr. Robinson works with the business development department to create messaging that attracts the right decision makers, gaining inbound leads and increasing brand awareness all while shortening sales cycles, the time it takes to gain sales appointments and set proper sales and execution expectations.
